- You need 40 gms of egg whites.
- You need 1 pinch of salt.
- It's 2 drops of vanilla essence.
Coconut macaroons step by step
- Whisk eggwhites over baine Marie and add sugar little by little as you continue whisking add the salt.
- When the mixture is warm and creamy remove from heat and stir in the vanilla essence, flour, and coconut.
- Cover and refrigerate for about two hours or till firm.
- Place small mounds (heapiing tbs of mixture) on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake 170 for about 15-20mins or until golden brown..
